The Department of Graphic Design at the School of Architecture & Design seeks applicants for a visiting position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor for one academic year in Beirut Campus. The applicant should demonstrate expertise in the practice of multimedia design (web, animation) and/or print /publication design. The candidate is expected to have a strong mastery of visual communication and design culture. Higher education teaching experience is advantageous.
Minimum Requirements: The candidate should be a holder of a terminal degree in Graphic Design or related design/art field, M.F.A, preferably PHD, in addition to teaching experience.
Duration of position: This position is open for the full academic year 2011–2012. The position is renewable for a second academic year in case of mutual interest, and the selected candidate may also apply to any future openings in the program after completing one year as a visiting professor.

Junior Graphic Designer - Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
In the role of Junior Graphic Designer you will report to the Graphic Designer, and will be responsible for designing print layouts based on design briefs from various internal customers and preparing artwork for production. You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and creatively produce new ideas and concepts for them working with a broad range of media (print and web) and keeping abreast of emerging technologies. You will need to have an understanding of the marketing rationale that drives creative approach in design.

The Senior Web & Graphics Designer will team up with other members of the User Experience design team and technologists to create a world class user experience for the company's products.
